SWEDISH MASSAGE

The most common massage treatment that consists of various strokes such as kneading…, to manipulate soft tissue muscles of the body. Swedish massage is great for relaxation,improve circulation both blood and lymph flow, soothes tight and/or sore muscles.

DEEP TISSUE MASSAGE

This technique uses firm pressure to target deeper musculature. Focus is on loosening and lengthening tight shortened muscles. Helps to relax chronic muscle pains,increase circulation and detoxifies. Assist in recovery time(helps body to heal faster).

PREGNANCY MASSAGE

This treatment is specifically tailored for the expectant mother’s needs. Helps to alleviate common conditions associated with pregnancy such as low back pain, swelling in the arms and legs. Relieves muscle and joint pain. Calms the Nervous System. Proper body positioning and bolstering with pillows are utilized for safety and comfort of both mother and baby.

* Not recommended for First Trimester or high risk pregnancies. Consult your doctor.

ASHIATSU DEEP FEET BAR THERAPY (Barefoot Massage)

You won’t mind being walked on with this treatment! Known as barefoot massage, "Ashi” means foot and "atsu” means pressure. A fusion of ancient Asian roots with Western techniques and application. Therapist uses overhead parallel bars for support and balance. Foot pressure is used to perform smooth flowing,gliding deep pressure. The feet become "the hands”. Ashiatsu is effective without compromising the client’s comfort. Ideal for those who seek deeper pressure, have chronic conditions (back pain…) or just want toexperience "The deepest most luxurious massage on the planet!”

Therapist will arrive 30-45 minutes prior to appointment scheduled time to setup. The Ashiatsu Portable Bar System requires both floor (8'X10') and ceiling space 8 Ft. This looks like a canopy bed.

MediCupping ™ differentiates itself from Massage Cupping™ and other traditional methods of cupping therapy. Techniques and theory are based on Massage Therapy. The ability of the MediCupping™ machine to control the vacuum and the release of tissue makes it unique. The equipment performs the pumping techniques while the therapist concentrates on the movements. Results are easy to document through regulation of equipment settings and successful results are achieved due to the consistency of application. A valuable tool for supporting physician-referred patients through injury and surgical recovery.

Vacuum Therapy with MediCupping™ utilizes glass or plastic cups and a machine to create suction on the body surface. These cups are moved over the skin with various movements such as gliding ,shaking, popping, and rotating techniques while gently lifting the cup. At times the "Cups" are parked for a short time to facilitate joint mobilization or soft tissue release. This suction can reach deep into the soft tissue or can work superficially to pull inflammation and metabolic wastes to the surface of the skin and thereby the lymphatic system can readily eliminate them. Soft tissue restrictions, adhesions and scar tissue often release quickly, despite the age of the injury or keloid scarring tendencies.

Vacuum Therapy with Medicupping helps break down the "Solid bloat", this is when heat from inflamed tissue slowly dehydrates the surrounding lymph, which inhibits normal drainage, circulation and hydration. Fascia fuses together from the heat and the congestion spreads through the upper tissues and skin surface. This inflammation can be caused by many things, such as surgeries, injuries, chronic movement patterns, and even childhood diseases and exposure to toxicities. The MediCuppingTM vacuum lifts and releases rigid soft tissue, as well as scars, adhesions and restrictions. SPAWORKS

STONE THERAPY

This is a variation on Swedish massage. Melt-away stress and tension with warm, smooth lava stones. The Therapist holds the stones to massage the body. Application of oil / creme allows the stones to glide smoothly along the muscles. Stationary stones are placed with a towel protecting the client’s skin. Hot stones improve circulation,reduces aches,pains,anxiety and insomnia. For those clients that can’t enjoy the warmth of the Sun for long periods, then hot stones provide that sensation. Cold stones aid in inflammation reduction.

*Not recommended for certain conditions including High Blood Pressure and Heart Disease...

*Note: For On-Location Stone Therapy a wall-outlet, table is required. Ice and cold water is required for Cold Stone Therapy. There is a 20 minute prep time to heat the stones.

BODY SCRUBS

Body Scrubs (use of Salts or Sugars) help to exfoliate dry, dull skin. It leaves your skin clean and smooth. Warm towels are used to remove the scrub. Clients receiving a home treatment may use regular shower. This treatment concludes with a moisturizing massage using oils or lotion to hydrate and nourish the skin.

FACIAL MASSAGE (non-esthetic)

A non-esthetic facial, where there is no extractions or peels performed. It focuses on cleansing the face followed by specific strokes to the facial musculature. Gentle upward strokes help to stimulate, firm the skin and muscle tone. It relaxes facial and eye muscles. Relieves tension headaches, facial pain, alleviates stress and anxiety. Concludes with body massage.

BACK FACIAL MASSAGE

A delightful treatment for the hard to reach area, your back! Similar to Facial Massage. Treatment begins with dry brushing to the back with new exfoliating gloves for client to keep. The back is cleansed and moisturized. Concludes with a body massage.

Precautions for Body Scrubs, Facial Massage & Back Facial Massage

No tanning (5 days)

No shaving (2 days) prior to scheduled treatment.

Not recommended if skin conditions are present as these may worsen (rashes,acne,sunburns,spider veins).

SCALP MASSAGE

The head houses the powerhouse(brain). Charge it up with this treatment similar to an Indian head massage. This technique may be done with or without oil added to the scalp. Main focus is on the head which also includes massage to the face,neck,shoulders and arms. Stimulates circulation,nourishes both the scalp and hair. Helps relieve eye strain,headaches, insomnia and lack of concentration. If you like a good shampoo treatment at the salon then you’ll love this even more!

tspheres MASSAGE

Use of an amazing massage tool to enhance the benefits Massage Therapy already offers. tspheres are an Aromatherapy Infused or Non-Infused organic rubber compound massage balls. The Infused spheres contain 100% Organic Jojoba Oil base and essential oils that provide helpful qualities(Peace & Quiet contains lavender which helps to reduce headaches, stress,calms the nerves...). These can be heated for Hot Therapy or cooled for Cold Therapy. 

Clients may purchase a set of tspheres (Retail value $35) and use them as an everyday tool to relieve tension and muscular pain. A set of tspheres come in a EVA-lined carrying pouch, instruction booklet, and a refresher spray-top bottle containing the same aromatherapy oils already infused into the tspheres.

AROMATHERAPY

Calm or awaken your senses with essential oils added to oil,creme or lotion used in your massage treatment. Each oil has its own properties and benefits. A blend is freshly prepared according to the client’s needs. This can be added to most treatments except Amma,Pregnancy and Chair Massage.

HANDS & SOLES SCRUBS

You work hard and play hard. Treat your hands and feet with care! These will be exfoliated, cleansed and moisturized. Great addition to most body treatments except Amma and Chair Massage.
